I incorporate intervals and often adjust the speeds, resistance and inclines to keep my heart rate guessing.

This burns fat vs. I focus on one muscle group a day. For example; Monday — Legs, Tuesday — Shoulders, Wednesday — Arms, Thursday — Back, Friday — OFF, Saturday — Chest, Sunday — Shoulders again.
